The maker or manufacturer shall pay the rendering of factory warranty services to any person who has rendered said services and who meets the requirements and conditions to which the rendering of the factory warranty services and the standards of payment, previously filed with and approved by the Department of Consumer Affairs, shall be circumscribed.
The maker or manufacturer cannot impose on the authorized distributor or independent distributor the obligation of rendering the factory warranty services to new motor vehicles not sold by him, nor institute methods or practices for the rendering of factory warranty services which may become a competitive advantage which will favor some motor vehicle dealers.
Every payment of claims made to the maker or manufacturer for the rendering of factory warranty services shall be effected in a uniform, reasonable and adequate manner.
