§ 165. Paint labels—Information required for label

Each container of paint that shall be sold or exposed or offered for sale in Puerto Rico shall show on the outside thereof the name and address of the manufacturer or distributor thereof or of the party for whom it is manufactured and shall show, in the case of paint in paste or semipaste form, the net weight in pounds or fraction thereof, and in the case of liquid paint, the net measure of the contents in gallons or parts thereof; and no paint shall be labeled, branded, marked or advertised in such manner as to deceive or tend to deceive any person as to its nature or composition.
