§ 168c. Administration

The Department shall have the authority and the duty to enforce the provisions of this chapter. The Department shall be empowered to issue orders, as deemed necessary, to carry out such task. The Department may also file with the corresponding forums a petition for an order to refrain or for an injunction to prevent the infringement of the provisions of this chapter or any other order or regulation promulgated thereunder.

The Department is hereby directed to adopt and promulgate the regulations necessary to enforce the purposes and provisions of this chapter, in accordance with the powers and authorities conferred by §§ 341 et seq. of Title 3, known as the “Organic Act of the Department of Consumer Affairs”, and §§ 2101 et seq. of Title 3, better known as the “Uniform Administrative Procedures Act”.
