§ 924. Definitions

(a) Authority. — Means the Puerto Rico Housing Financing Authority, the name by which the Puerto Rico Housing Financing Corporation, as defined hereinbelow, shall be known as of the effective date of this act.

(b) Housing Bank. — Means the Puerto Rico Housing Bank and Financing Agency, a public corporation subsidiary of the Puerto Rico Department of Housing, created under Act No. 146 of June 30, 1961, as amended, which is dissolved pursuant to the provisions of this act.

(c) Government Development Bank. — Means the Government Development Bank for Puerto Rico, created by §§ 551—568 of this title, known as the “Government Development Bank for Puerto Rico Act”.

(d) Corporation. — Means the Puerto Rico Housing Financing Corporation, a public corporation subsidiary of the Government Development Bank for Puerto Rico, created by Resolution No. 4023 of November 16, 1977, as amended, of the Board of Directors of the Government Development Bank for Puerto Rico, redenominated following the merger as the Puerto Rico Housing Financing Authority.
