(a) This section shall be known as the “Puerto Rican Notarial Day Act”.
(b) October 2 of each year is hereby designated as “Puerto Rican Notarial Day”. The Secretary of State shall issue a proclamation to such effect, and the Secretary of Justice shall organize a modest and simple act to stress the importance of notaries in our society. As part of the activity, he may coordinate initiatives or the participation of institutions that group and represent the notaries authorized to practice said profession in Puerto Rico.
