(a) October 16 of each year shall be observed as the “World Food Day” in Puerto Rico.
(b) The Governor of Puerto Rico, through a proclamation, shall exhort the People of Puerto Rico to ponder and take action on the world food problem, which concerns the world, and to strengthen solidarity in the fight against hunger and malnutrition.
(c) All administrative agencies are hereby directed to cooperate with the Departments of Agriculture and Health, which shall be in charge of disclosing and implementing an awareness campaign to promote solutions for the hunger and malnutrition problem.
