(a) June 26 of each year is declared to be the “Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking” in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
(b) The Governor, through proclamation, shall annually exhort the people of Puerto Rico to promote the eradication of drug abuse and illicit trafficking in our country on that date.
(c) The Drug Control Office of Puerto Rico is ordered to disseminate the meaning of such day through the celebration of special activities to promote the eradication of drug abuse and illicit trafficking.
(d) It shall be the responsibility of the Secretary of State of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico to send a copy of this act to the Secretary General of the United Nations Organization.
