§ 3204. Vehicle registry—Providing relevant information

The Secretary of the Treasury, the Secretary of Justice, the Commissioner of Insurance, the Executive Director of the Maritime Authority and the Superintendent of the Puerto Rico Police shall be bound to offer full cooperation and relevant information requested by the Secretary of Transportation and Public Works in order to put the Register provided by this chapter into operation.

The above-mentioned officials shall provide the Department of Transportation and Public Works with technical assistance, personnel resources, equipment and funding for the implementation of this Register. The Secretary is hereby authorized to enter into agreements with private persons or entities qualified to advise and collaborate in establishing and functioning of the Register.

The Secretary shall have the obligation of establishing and putting the Register into use no later than six (6) months after the effective date of this act.
