§ 2701. Pasturing animals on highways

No bovine animals or horses, goats or hogs shall be allowed to graze or roam freely on the highways, neither shall said animals be fastened anywhere within the right of way. Any person who violates the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction punished by a fine of from ten [dollars] ($10) to five hundred dollars ($500) or by imprisonment in jail for up to six (6) months, or both penalties, in the discretion of the court.
