§ 2605. Obstruction of highways with fences and buildings; penalties

No person shall obstruct or encroach upon the highways with fences, buildings, constructions or otherwise, and whoever does so shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction punished with a fine of not less than three hundred dollars ($300) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500), the penalty of restitution, or both penalties at the discretion of the court. Each day the encroachment or obstruction remains shall be deemed a separate and independent offense. The Department is hereby authorized to immediately remove whatever constitutes the obstruction or invasion should it affect the traffic safety.
