§ 2603. Demolition of works built without permit; notice to interested parties

The Secretary is hereby authorized to demolish or eliminate the works constructed without a permit from the Department or which, although with a permit, do not comply with the requirements established therein. Before the demolition is proceeded with, the interested parties shall be informed in writing in order for them to correct the deficiencies and shall be given a reasonable time to do so. Within the ten (10) days following receipt of the notice, the interested party may object to the decision of the Secretary, in which case the latter shall hold a hearing to hear the allegations of the interested party and the grounds for his objection.
