Any insurance company taking possession of a vehicle must inspect the airbag. If a particular airbag was not activated, the insurance company may, as established in this chapter, use the same in another vehicle, unless it is given to the insured party. In this case the insurance company itself shall keep a register, as established in § 2073 of this title, listing those airbags that were activated and those that were removed.
