The Secretary of Transportation and Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into agreements with the Authority for the study, design, construction, repair, maintenance, acquisition of properties and easements, and any other matter necessary to carry out the purposes of this chapter. The Authority may also enter into agreements under which the Secretary of Transportation and Public Works agrees to pay, totally or partially, the cost of repairs, maintenance, and operation of any traffic facilities financed under the provisions of this chapter with funds of the Commonwealth covered into the public treasury.
The Authority shall be bound to provide to the Secretary of Transportation and Public Works the necessary funds for him to perform the obligations incurred by him under the provisions of Joint Resolution No. 94, approved June 26, 1964.
