The Bureau of Translations shall have as essential duties for its operation the translations into the English language of any order, decision, resolution, opinion or judgment rendered by the Supreme Court; or by any part of the Court of First Instance and of the judgment records, transcriptions of evidence and other necessary records in civil or criminal cases decided by said courts with the exclusive faculty of certifying for the Clerk of the court as may correspond the correction of the translations of said expedients or records which must be presented before the Supreme Court or any other court of the United States for any appeal or revision purposes or for any other proceedings. This Bureau shall also translate the Puerto Rico Reports and any rules and regulations promulgated by the Supreme Court and any other translations that may be assigned to it by the Supreme Court, the Chief Justice or the Clerk.
