Any person who alienates, encumbers, alters, removes or in any other way disposes of, with the purpose of evading compliance with §§ 366—368 of this title and without authorization of the court, property attached without seizure in virtue thereof, shall incur in a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not less than five hundred dollars ($500) nor more than two thousand dollars ($2,000) or by imprisonment in jail for a term of not less than six (6) months nor more than two (2) years or by both penalties in the discretion of the court.
