Rule 2.3. Supervisory function of administrative judges; report on their administrative activities

The administrative judges in all matters within their jurisdiction shall supervise the administrative work of the judges, officers, and other employees of their respective parts and they shall adopt such measures as will result in a better functioning thereof and in the strict compliance with these rules.

The Administrative Judge of each part of the District Court shall supervise the administrative matters concerning the municipal judges and the justices of the peace appointed to the municipalities included within his territorial limits.

Each Administrative Judge shall submit to the Chief Justice, within the first fifteen (15) days of July and January of each year, except and as provided in Rule 2.2, a written report explaining his activities as Administrative Judge during the preceding six (6) months and the condition and progress of his part during said term, as well as any other report as the Chief Justice or the Administrative Director of the Courts may deem proper to require.
