§ 1860. Conflict of interest; penalties

No person having a direct or indirect financial interest in any private enterprise for which the Administration has furnished capital, or which is in competition with any of the businesses the Administration is engaged in or for which it has furnished capital, may hold any executive office in the Administration.

Violation of the provisions of this section shall constitute a misdemeanor, punishable by fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500), or by imprisonment in jail for a term of not more than six (6) months, or by both penalties, in the discretion of the court. Such violation shall also be cause for dismissal of the transgressor.
