(1) The Department shall certify the producers, processors, handlers, and any other person involved in the marketing of organic agricultural products produced by organic means.
(2) Any person who requests or renews a certification as an organic producer shall submit the corresponding application to the Department with a non reimbursable fee established by the Department.
(3) Any person who files a late application shall pay an additional charge established by regulations.
(4) A person who is certified as a producer pursuant to this chapter shall have a copy of said certification available for inspection at the organic farm, and any person engaged in marketing, certification or processing shall have a copy of the certification in the main building of their business or commercial establishment.
