The farm bureaus organized under §§ 941—952 of this title are hereby authorized, when they so deem it advisable and upon the approval of the Secretary, to dissolve for the purpose of organizing into cooperatives or to join cooperatives already existing; Provided, That whenever any farm bureau may so resolve by the vote of not less than three-fourths of its total active members, the Secretary shall notify such resolution to the Secretary of the Treasury, who shall transfer any funds and personal or real property on hand of the said farm bureau to the cooperative which its members may organize, or to the one they may join; and Provided, further, That upon making said transfer, there shall be assigned to each member the share pertaining to him of such funds and property, in accordance with the procedure of the General Cooperatives Act to this respect.
