§ 846. Regulation of domestic animal semen—Definitions

For the purposes of §§ 846—853 of this title, the word “semen” shall be understood to mean the opaque fluid, whose color varies from white to cream, ejaculated by the male animal at the moment of copulation, consisting of a seminal fluid, in which the spermatic cells are suspended.

The word “veterinary”, as used in §§ 846—853 of this title, shall refer to the veterinary-physicians authorized by law to practice veterinary medicine in this Commonwealth.

The words “fertilization technician”, as used in §§ 846—853 of this title, shall refer to the persons duly qualified by the Office of Personnel and authorized to practice such technique by the Secretary of Agriculture of Puerto Rico.
