§ 739. Penalties generally

Any natural or juridical person who, either directly or through agents, employers or subordinates, violates any provision of §§ 730—739 of this title or the regulations promulgated hereunder shall incur a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500) or imprisonment for not less than ten (10) days nor more than thirty (30) days for the first offense, and for each subsequent violation shall be punished with a fine of not less than two hundred dollars ($200) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500) or imprisonment for a term of not less than thirty (30) days nor more than three (3) months, or both penalties in the discretion of the court.

The provisions of this section shall not be applicable in those cases in which penalties are imposed and collected under the provisions of § 733 of this title.
