The function of the University of Puerto Rico, to be performed by the Agricultural Experiment Station, shall be to study the problems of the cultivation of tobacco and of the tobacco industry; to furnish technical and promotional services to the tobacco growers of Puerto Rico, and to extend its activities over all aspects of the tobacco industry, including the survey of the possibility of new foreign markets.
