§ 252. Appropriations and expenditures

The sum of one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is hereby appropriated from any funds in the Commonwealth Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the use of the Puerto Rico Soil Conservation Committee of Puerto Rico in carrying out any of the provisions of §§ 241—252 of this title; Provided, That the Committee is hereby vested with power to prescribe the administrative policy in accordance with the rules of the Department of the Treasury, and to authorize and audit disbursements and investments made from this appropriation to carry out the purposes of said sections. Any sums appropriated, allocated, or available at any time to any agency to carry out activities of the character provided for in said sections, shall be expended by the said agency according to the terms and subject to the limitations provided for by the law or laws under which such sums may have been appropriated, allocated, or made available.
