A person who allows a collector, or paid or unpaid representatives of a nonprofit organization, to fetch food or non-edible products in his/her property, or in one occupied by him/her, shall not be subject to a civil or criminal action that might arise from harm or death suffered by the collector or person from the nonprofit organization as a result of any improper, intentional or grossly negligent effort, act or omission of the donor.
However, he/she may be subject to a cause of action when the collector, or his/her representative suffers harm or death as the result of an improper, intentional or grossly negligent act or omission by that person.
