§ 549e. Authority of Puerto Rico courts

In the case of delinquent children, the courts of Puerto Rico shall retain authority to issue orders to appear, orders of detention and apprehension, as well as orders for placement in assistance programs, such as halfway house or rehabilitation programs and custody changes while the child is within the jurisdiction of Puerto Rico.
