A Commission on Integral Social Security System is hereby created which shall hereafter be referred to as the Commission.
The Commission shall be composed of five (5) persons appointed by the Governor of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, one of whom he shall designate as Chairman.
The members of the Commission shall receive a per diem of fifty dollars ($50) for each meeting they attend or for each day in which they perform functions related [to] the duties imposed on them by this resolution, provided they are not public employees of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, in which case they shall fulfill such functions without any compensation whatsoever. However, such members shall be entitled to be reimbursed for necessary expenses they may really incur in the fulfillment of their official duties, in accordance with the applicable regulations of the Department of the Treasury.
