Section 108.070 - Addition of territory - Territory in two or more counties(1) The area of a city or of another district may be added to the area of an urban services district by an agreement between the district council and the legislative body of the city or governing board of another district. Territory in an unincorporated area may be added to the urban services district upon approval by the council and the county judge/executive when a petition signed by fifty-one percent (51%) of the registered voters of that territory is filed with the county judge/executive.(2) An urban services district may include territory in two (2) or more counties. In the organization, conduct of elections, and expansion of such districts, the county judge/executive and the county clerk of each county shall perform the duties provided for by this chapter in relationship to the territory and voters of the district within that county.Effective:6/17/1978
