Section 341.4171 - Shared work weekly benefit amount calculation(1) The shared work weekly benefit amount shall be the product of the regular weekly unemployment compensation amount, as calculated under KRS 341.380, multiplied by the percentage of reduction of at least ten percent (10%) in the individual's usual weekly hours of work.(2) An individual may be eligible for shared work benefits or regular benefits, as appropriate, except that no individual shall be eligible for regular benefits, shared work benefits, or a combination of regular benefits and shared work benefits in any benefit year in an amount more than the maximum benefit amount established for regular benefits in KRS 341.380, nor shall an individual be paid shared work benefits for more than twenty-six (26) weeks, whether or not consecutive, in any benefit year pursuant to a shared work plan.(3) The shared work benefits paid to an individual shall be deducted from the maximum benefit amount established for his or her benefit year under KRS 341.380.(4) The secretary shall promulgate rules and procedures for the filing of claims for shared work benefits.Added by 2022 Ky.
