Section 8-141 - When registration shall be refused; suspension of registration for failure to pay fees(a) The division shall not grant an application for the registration of a vehicle when: (1) The applicant therefor is not entitled thereto under the provisions of this act; (2) the applicant has neglected or refused to furnish the division with the information required in the appropriate official form or reasonable additional information required by the division; or (3) the fees required therefor by law have not been paid.(b) The division may suspend a registration when the fees required therefor by law have not been fully paid.L. 1929, ch. 81, § 19; L. 1985, ch. 43, § 7; July 1.
