Section 75-5915 - Transfer of appropriations; liability for accrued compensation of officers and employees transferred to department(a) On July 1, 1977, the balance of all funds appropriated and reappropriated to the department of social and rehabilitation services for the services to the aging section of said department shall be and is hereby transferred to the department on aging and shall be used only for the purposes for which the appropriation was originally made.(b) On July 1, 1977, liability for all accrued compensation or salaries of officers and employees who, immediately prior to said date, were engaged in the performance of powers, duties or functions of the services to the aging section of the department of social and rehabilitation services, and who become officers and employees of the department on aging, shall be assumed and paid by the department on aging.L. 1977, ch. 288, § 15; April 28.
