Section 75-3341 - Operation of vending facilities by blind persons; arbitration board; decisions published(a) An arbitration board of three persons consisting of one person designated by the vending facilities advisory committee who shall serve as chairperson, one person designated by the head of the state department or agency controlling state property over which a dispute arises, and a third person who is not an employee of the departments concerned selected by the two shall hear appeals as provided in subsection (b) of this section.(b) If, in the opinion of the division of services for the blind any department or agency in control of the maintenance, operation, and protection of state property is failing to comply with the provisions of this act, or any regulations issued thereunder, it shall appeal to the board. The board shall, within 30 days' written notice of appeal, conduct a hearing and render its decision which shall be in writing and shall be binding. If the board determines that the acts or practices of any such department or agency are in violation of this act, or the regulations issued thereunder, the head of the affected department or agency shall promptly cause such acts or practices to be terminated, and shall take such other action as may be necessary to carry out the decision of the board.
