Section 72-2237 - Secretary of labor; rules and regulations; subpoena power(a) The secretary of labor may adopt such rules and regulations as are necessary to implement and administer the provisions of K.S.A. 72-2218 through 72-2239, and amendments thereto, which place specific duties and responsibilities upon the secretary.(b) Any rules and regulations adopted by the secretary of labor prior to the effective date of this act to implement and administer the provisions of K.S.A. 72-2218 through 72-2239, and amendments thereto, shall remain in full force and effect until amended, modified, suspended, revoked or nullified pursuant to law.(c) The secretary of labor has the power to issue subpoenas requiring the attendance of any witnesses and the production of any records, books, papers and documents that the secretary considers necessary to implement and administer the provisions of K.S.A. 72-2218 through 72-2239, and amendments thereto, which place specific duties and responsibilities upon the secretary.
