The statement of charges and notice shall be served upon the licensee in accordance with the provisions of the Kansas administrative procedure act.(b) If the board determines that there is probable cause to revoke or suspend the license of a dentist or dental hygienist for any reason that exists pursuant to K.S.A. 65-1436, and amendments thereto, and if the licensee's continued practice would constitute an imminent danger to public health and safety, the board may initiate administrative proceedings for an emergency adjudication under the provisions of the Kansas administrative procedure act.
