Section 60-271 - Acceptance of filings by electronic means(a)Generally.(1) To the extent provided by supreme court rule, the clerks of the district and appellate courts must accept documents for filing by electronic means.(2) As used in this section, "document" means a pleading, motion, exhibit, declaration, affidavit, memorandum, paper, order, notice and any other filing by or to the court.(b)Signatures and verifications. A document may be signed or verified by electronic means that are consistent with supreme court rules.
