Section 32-929 - Permanent hunting, fishing and furharvesting licenses for enrolled members of a federally recognized tribe(a) Subject to the provisions of K.S.A. 32-912 and 32-920, and amendments thereto, the secretary or the secretary's designee shall issue, free of charge, a permanent license to hunt, fish and furharvest to any person residing in the state who submits to the secretary satisfactory proof that the person maintains enrollment on a tribal membership roll maintained by a federally recognized tribe. Any such person hunting, fishing or furharvesting in this state shall be subject to the provisions of all rules and regulations relating to hunting, fishing or furharvesting.(b) As used in this section, "federally recognized tribe" means an Indian tribe that appears on the list of Indian tribes published by the secretary of the interior in accordance with the federally recognized Indian tribe list act of 1994, title I, public law 103-454.Amended by L. 2022, ch. 42,§ 1, eff. 7/1/2022.L. 1971, ch. 142, § 1; L. 1973, ch. 179, § 1; L. 1978, ch. 152, § 16; L. 1989, ch. 118, § 66; L. 1995, ch. 164, § 3; Apr. 27.
