Section 9-24-8.5-2 - Licenses eligible for endorsement(a) A driver's license issued under IC 9-24-3 may include one (1) or more of the following: (1) A motorcycle endorsement under IC 9-24-8-4 (before its expiration) or section 3 of this chapter.(2) A for-hire endorsement under section 5 of this chapter.(b) A commercial driver's license may include one (1) or more of the following: (1) A motorcycle endorsement under IC 9-24-8-4 (before its expiration) or section 3 of this chapter.(2) Except for a hazardous materials endorsement, an endorsement under IC 9-24-6.1, including under any rules adopted under IC 9-24-6.1, if the applicant is at least twenty-one (21) years of age.(3) A hazardous materials endorsement under IC 9-24-6.1, including under any rules adopted under IC 9-24-6.1, if the applicant is at least eighteen (18) years of age.Amended by P.L. 141-2024,SEC. 21, eff. 7/1/2024.Amended by P.L. 111-2021,SEC. 51, eff. 1/1/2022.Added by P.L. 198-2016, SEC. 461, eff. 7/1/2016.
