Section 5-10.3-6-9 - Participation of political subdivision with retirement system

If a political subdivision has a retirement system for its employees, it must conduct a referendum, at which seventy-five percent (75%) of all active and retired members vote for participation, before it may follow the procedures in this chapter for participation.
