Section 4-30-13-1 - Violation; infraction or misdemeanor(a) A person who knowingly:(1) sells a lottery ticket and is not authorized by the commission or this article to engage in such a sale; or(2) sells a lottery ticket at a price other than that established by the commission; commits a Class A misdemeanor.
(b) A person who knowingly sells a lottery ticket to a minor commits a Class C infraction. However, the violation is a Class A misdemeanor if the person has a prior unrelated adjudication or conviction for a violation of this section within the previous five (5) years.Amended by P.L. 32-2019,SEC. 3, eff. 7/1/2019.As added by P.L. 341-1989 (ss), SEC.1.
