The amendments made to section 3 of this chapter by P.L. 199-2007 apply only to members of the commission appointed by the governor after December 31, 2008. A member of the commission appointed by the governor under section 3 of this chapter before January 1, 2009, may serve the entire four (4) year term to which the member was appointed, as provided in section 4(b) of this chapter.
