Section 4-13.1-2-3 - Chief information officer(a) The governor shall appoint a chief information officer of the office, who serves at the pleasure of the governor.(b) The chief information officer:(1) is the executive head of the office;(2) is responsible for strategic planning and the architecture for information technology functions of state government; and(3) shall provide leadership for information technology issues facing state agencies.As added by P.L. 177-2005, SEC.9.
