Section 36-4-2-6 - Place of election; manner; expense; voting(a) An election held under section 3 of this chapter shall be held in each municipality in the manner prescribed by IC 3-10-8-6. Each municipality is responsible for the expense of the election within its own corporate boundaries.(b) A voter in an election held under section 3 of this chapter may: (1) vote "Yes" or "No" on the proposed merger; and(2) vote in favor of one (1) proposed name listed on the ballot under section 5 of this chapter.Pre-Local Government Recodification Citation: 18-5-10-11 part.
