Ind. Code § 32-26-1-23

A person may not throw down the common fence. A person who throws down a common fence shall pay to the association at least five dollars ($5) but not more than twenty dollars ($20), recoverable before any court with jurisdiction. A person who throws down a common fence is liable for all damages that accrue because of the person's actions. Damages are recoverable under this subsection in the same manner as a forfeiture.
