Section 3-8-1-6 - President; Vice President; presidential elector; alternate presidential elector(a) A candidate for the office of President or Vice President of the United States must have the qualifications provided in Article 2, Section 1, clause 4 of the Constitution of the United States.(b) A candidate for the office of presidential elector or alternate presidential elector must have the qualifications provided in Article 2, Section 1, clause 2 of the Constitution of the United States and Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.Pre-1986 Recodification Citation: U.S. Const.
