Section 25-8-7-1 - Cosmetology salon licenses; barber shop licenses(a) The board may issue a license under this article to operate a beauty culture salon.(b) Beginning July 1, 2014, a license issued or renewed under this chapter for a barber shop must state, in prominent type on the license, that the license is a "barber shop license".Amended by P.L. 75-2014, SEC. 4, eff. 7/1/2014.Amended by P.L. 170-2013, SEC. 47, eff. 7/1/2013.As added by P.L. 257-1987, SEC.6.
