Section 25-29-5-1 - Reciprocal licenses
(a) The board may issue a license to an applicant who pays a fee established by the board and who presents satisfactory evidence to the board that the applicant:
(1) meets the requirements under IC 25-29-3-1;
(2) is licensed in a state, territory, or possession of the United States;
(3) has passed a podiatric medical licensing examination that is substantially equivalent to the examination approved by the board; and
(4) has practiced podiatric medicine for at least five (5) years.
(b) The board may require an applicant under this section to do the following:
(1) Personally appear before the board.
(2) Pass a medical examination, approved by the board, if at least ten (10) years have elapsed since the applicant passed a medical licensing examination.
