Section 25-27-1-6.3 - Requirements for physical therapist assistant certificate An applicant for a certificate as a physical therapist assistant must do the following:
(1) Complete the application process, including payment of fees.(2) Submit proof of graduation from a professional physical therapist assistant education program accredited by a national accreditation agency approved by the board.(3) Pass an examination approved by the board.(4) Submit to a national criminal history background check under IC 25-1-1.1-4.(5) Meet any other requirements established by rule.Added by P.L. 160-2019,SEC. 19, eff. 7/1/2019.
