Section 25-23.6-5-9 - Duration of license; renewal(a) Subject to IC 25-1-2-6(e), a license issued by the board is valid for the remainder of the renewal period in effect on the date the license was issued.(b) An individual may renew a license by: (1) paying a renewal fee on or before the expiration date of the license; and(2) completing not less than twenty (20) hours of continuing education per licensure year.(c) If an individual fails to pay a renewal fee on or before the expiration date of a license, the license becomes invalid.Amended by P.L. 177-2015, SEC. 53, eff. 7/1/2015.As added by P.L. 186-1990, SEC.9.
