"Addiction counseling experience" refers to a time during which an applicant provides addiction counseling services directly to clients diagnosed with a substance use disorder, including treatment of clients, and at least fifty percent (50%) of the time consists of providing addiction counseling services directly to clients diagnosed with a substance use disorder.
