Section 25-23.4-3-4 - Expiration of certificate; renewal(a) Subject to IC 25-1-2-6(e), a certificate issued under this chapter expires after two (2) years, on a date established by the licensing agency. Failure to renew a certificate on or before the expiration date makes the certificate invalid without any action by the board.(b) To be eligible for the renewal of a certificate issued under this chapter, an individual must: (1) meet continuing education requirements set by the board;(2) maintain a Certified Professional Midwife credential; and(3) maintain sufficient liability insurance.Amended by P.L. 177-2015, SEC. 51, eff. 7/1/2015.Added by P.L. 232-2013, SEC. 20, eff. 7/1/2013.
