Section 25-23.4-1-4 - "Certified direct entry midwife"; "CDEM"(a) "Certified direct entry midwife" or "CDEM" means an individual who is a certified direct entry midwife and certified under this article.(b) The term does not include any of the following:(1) An individual engaged in the practice of medicine under IC 25-22.5.(2) A certified nurse midwife engaged only in the practice of midwifery under IC 25-23.(3) An individual providing emergency medical services.Added by P.L. 232-2013, SEC. 20, eff. 7/1/2013.
